Scusate cross-posting.

OsGEO chiede aiuto nel passaggio a multilingue del loro sito.
Per ora sono pochissimi i contenuti tradotti anche in italiano, mi sembra
senza troppi errori o fantasiose costruzioni sintattiche.

Chi volesse dare una mano deve passare attraverso il Web Committee, come da
comunicazione sottostante.

Buona domenica,
M

Hi everybody,
It is with pleasure that I mention our main web site now supports
more than just the English language!

If you go to http://www.osgeo.org you will now see a "Select
language" menu on the left side, with a few languages listed. The
tools are pretty simple, if you press a language the content will
change, but only if that content has been translated already. All
default content is in US English.

There isn't a lot translated yet, but this is your invitation to help
with making more translations complete. Your contributions are
welcome. If you are interested in helping translate, it is not that
difficult. Just let your Web Committee know by subscribing and
introducing yourself on the Web Committee mailing list:
http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/webcom

The language switching capabilities are not perfect, but from tests
they seem to be sufficient. If you get weird content or get lost,
please also join above list and let the team know. Any rare problems
I have seen usually just require you to select English and then
select your language again.

Hope this is exciting for you!
Sincerely,
Tyler
