Mi hanno risposto da Developer MapBox.

"The data probably got stale and the server should fix itself on the next
automated update. I leave this issue open for now."

No so cosa vuol dire in inglese informatichese  "stale".
Però sono fiducioso che al prossimo update automatico vada tutto a posto
come prima.
