[Gfoss] Help!!! ECW.Mapserver non comunica con gdal

Ho veramente bisogno di aiuto...Devo visualizzare una ortofoto .ecw con
mapserver. Ho installato e configurato correttamente gdal con .ecw; Infatti
risulta:
$ gdalinfo --formats|grep ECW
  ECW (rw): ERMapper Compressed Wavelets
  JP2ECW (rw+): ERMapper JPEG2000

Inoltre se chiamo mapserv -v risulta tra gli altri INPUT: GDAL.

Tuttavia se provo a leggere l'ecw con mapserver mi da errore:
msDrawMap(): Image handling error. Failed to draw layer named 'orto'. <br>
msDrawRaster(): Image handling error. Unrecognized or unsupported image
format <br>
drawEPP(): Image handling error.
/home/mapdata/ka-map/ka-map-1.0-20070205/htdocs/data/casalvecchio/395143.ecw
is not an EPPL file. <br>

Non ho idea di come risolvere...
