Hi Jeroen.
Quite a pertinent observation. We are aware of this. In fact, the
steering committee of GFOSS.it appointed a liaison officer, that is
charged of managing the relationship between GFOSS.it and OSGeo.
I assume sheer lack of time prevented him from inserting the relevant
(and welcomed!) news about OSGeo.
Hopefully this will change in the near future.
