[Gfoss] problema shp2pgsql

se vado sul prompt dei comandi e digito 

shp2pgsql c:\cartella\shape.shp tabella database

vedo che sul prompt mi crea la tabella e mi aggiunge i valori...quindi il
procedimento sembra andare a buon fine
solo che se io apro postgresql sia con AdminIII o con phpPgAdmin, la tabella
non c'e'   -.-
