[Gfoss] DWG

Ciao a tutti...
ieri (sabato) sono stato ad arezzo per quell'incontro in cui Paolo era
invitato a parlare....
ci siamo trovati di fronte ad una situazione ambigua:
interesse diffuso, attenzione, "Gfossisti" sconosciuti ma molto in
gamba, politici attenti ed interessati...
dall'altra parte però tanti preconcetti, scetticismo, preclusione
acritica....

il bello è che dopo aver discusso per ore di formati e software liberi
ci siamo sentiti dire (per la seconda volta) da un responsabile della
regione toscana che loro, "eccezionalmente" diffonderanno durante la
geofesta, uan serie di dati DWG ... e che quindi ("voi siete poco
informati" ha detto) potremmo trarne vantaggio tramite OpenDWG...
 a parte il fatto che non aveva capito nulla dalla discussione, se

On November 13, 2006, Autodesk, Inc. filed suit against the Open Design
Alliance, alleging that our DWGdirect libraries infringe their trademark
for the word "AUTODESK".   On November 22, the United States District
Court for the Western District of Washington in Seattle issued a
Temporary Restraining Order affecting the Open Design Alliance's
DWGdirect libraries.

Due to this order, the DWGdirect version 2.1.0 libraries are no longer
available for download. We expect to make replacement libraries
available in the next few days.

If you have previously downloaded these libraries, you may be directly
affected by the court order, a copy of which may be found here. If you
have questions regarding this matter, you may contact
tro at opendesign.com.

Durante la discussione con Paolo ci siamo detti: "bisognerebbe fare una
petizione, creare un movimento appositamente contro il DWG"  

un altro impegno per il Gfoss?????   :-)
